Welcome back to Crew Tips, a bi-weekly series that gives you best practices and simple steps for making the most out of your Crew app, on both Android and iOS. In our last installment of Crew Tips, we answered the question of how much data the Crew app uses.
This week, we’re talking about what to do if you come across a bug in Crew: how to report the bug and bring it to our attention so we can resolve it as soon as possible.
If you find and submit a bug and we can then validate it, we’ll send you a free Crew tee-shirt to say “Thanks!” for helping us make the app even better.
How to submit a bug
You can help us validate what you’ve found by doing the following things:
Give us a general description of what you were trying/expecting to do and what happened instead
Take a screenshot, or several (!) to help us locate it. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words, and even if you don’t know how best to describe the problem you can help us track it down
If you choose to email your bug submission (bugs@crewapp.com), please include the mobile phone number you use to log in to the app. Looking up your account can help give us additional context as well
Note: If you submit through the app itself by messaging Crew Support you don’t need to include your number.
